TyvekŪ KEEPS OUT DIRT AND DUST.
AT THE END OF THE
WORK SHIFT, WORKERS WILL BE CLEANER CLEAR THROUGH
End user
applications for garments of TyvekŪ have grown significantly in recent
years Some of the original uses were for protection against particularly
dirty jobs, cleanroom garments, and as substitutes for more expensive
clothing. Garment use in these areas continues strong today.
Especially Dirty
Jobs: stack cleaning, vessel cleaning, plating, degreasing, lampblack
handling, paint spraying, undercoating operations, baghouse entrance and
clean-up, sanding/sand blasting, underground utility maintenance,
appliance manufacture (porcelain dipping)
For Economies:
visitors' garments, garment damage/pilferage areas, seasonal employee
garments
Compare the
performance, cost, and convenience of work clothing made of TyvekŪ
spunbonded olefin with other "dirty job" clothing, and you'll choose
garments of TyvekŪ.
Work clothing of
TyvekŪ holds out dirt better than woven cloth garments, because TyvekŪ is
made of millions of tiny fibers that overlap to form an excellent barrier
to dirt.
When clothing of
TyvekŪ has provided enough wearings to meet your standards, you simply
throw it away. It is so inexpensive, it can be disposed of after one
wearing, but it is so tough, it will probably provide several uses. This
throwaway convenience can greatly simplify your entire work clothing
program.
