Alternatives to Latex: |
|
Plasticised PVC (Vinyl)
usually found in exam gloves is cheap, but compared to natural rubber
(latex) has poor elasticity and tear strength. |
|
Nitrile
is similar to natural rubber when vulcanised, but its tensile strength is
lower while its elastic modulus tends to be higher. |
