Hacksaw Frames

1. Lever tensions the 12" ( 300mm) hacksaw blade to 30,000 psi ( 21 kg. mm²),  about twice that of ordinary frames.

2. Mount blade at 45 degree angle  for flush cutting jobs.

3. Use frame as jab saw (set screw holds blade in position).

4. Use as a compass saw with No. 20585-156R reciprocating blade.

5. Store spare blades inside the tubular back.

The Lenox 2012 hacksaw frame is economical and practical.  The lightweight cast aluminum handle has an oversized grip opening that provides room for hands with work gloves.  The 2012 has the highest blade tension of any frame in its class.  Space between the blade and zinc plated metal crossbar allows very thick materials to be cut.
